Funny as hell song.
There's a band here in Buffalo called Toast.
I wonder if they've ever heard it?

I think this might be the one you're looking for.

I heard this song years ago on Dr. Demento, and he credited the song to Paul Young. When I did the research recently, I found that it was actually by a band called "Streetband" of which Paul was a member of.
