Actually, I think this is the one available on CD--if not, they're very very similar--
Mad props to cleverblue for posting all of these; excellent stuff. Thanks.

You're right. I checked the CD.
I guess I just don't like the mix as much as I thought I did.

The Scritti Politti 12" -- at least, the US one I have -- has a "version 1" at 4:24, a "7" Single Mix" at 3:36 and a "Version 2" at 6:32. The version 2 matches the "version" on the CD, and I think the 7" single mix matches the album track off the CD.
Sooooo ... here's the "Version 1" which I believe is exclusive to the vinyl.

Does anyone know if Wood Beez had a different extended or remix version other than the one on the CD? For some reason, I'm thinking that the 12" had a version (other than "Version") which was on there. I also know that the 7" was greatly altered from the regular, album version.

In my enthusiasm, I completely failed to check to see if the CD version matched the 12" Version! [:I] Thank you for posting this version! [:)]

The US 12" I have has the 4:48 album version on one side and the "Version" on the B side at 6:34, both on the CD. In a quick Google search, the UK 12" shows a 12" version as well as "Small Talk" as a B-side. But I'm pretty sure the 12" version is the 4:48 -- just designated as such to differentiate from the 7" version.
