Nice write up, however the item is listed as cd/dvd. I'm wondering if this means dvd audio, or is it a video of performances?

You get an audio CD AND a DVD! Highly recommended. There's live footage from their early days and also later CBGB's performances. Kristian Hoffman's commentary on the DVD is great too.
