Bumped from Frayo's painfully rare trax thread in trading:

Painfully rare indeed.... Maybe this has already been talked about but I still get such a huge kick out of it, it needs to be talked about again.

This is the video for Ministry's "Same Old Madness" circa With Sympathy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGskkcID ... search=ssq

What? You never heard of that song? There's a reason. It's never been released. In fact, only this one promotional video of it exists. Offically that is, there is an MP3 of it floating around -- but the video is much more fun.

It joins all the other early Ministry trax that haven't seen an official release: America, Never Ask for Nothing, Love Change, What is the Reason, So-So Life, Ricky's Hand, I See Red, the list goes on and on... Many of these are re-worked Special Affect songs (so the rumor mongers say), Al's early band.

Speaking of, anyone have the "I Wanted to Tell Her" B-side, "Walk in the Park"?

There's an easier way to download YouTube videos. I use the keepvid.com website. All you have to do is click on the video in YouTube to play it. Once it is playing, click on the KeepVid site.

Under the Download line, you will see the word "loading" with a bunch of ..... after it. After a couple of seconds, it will change into "download link" Click on that.

It will save to the computer as "get_video" Once it is complete, rename the file to "whatever" as long as you add .flv extension. You need to download a flv player but they're free.

My God, was David Bowie *THAT* young? A gem of a duet medley with Cher (note the unspeakable hair) starting and ending with Young Americans.

And here's a rare gem of obscurity: the ever eccentric Beck doing "Clap Hands" - a bonus cut from Guero - on German TV with a cutlery-and-wineglass orchestra. *THE* definiteion of sublime.

A certain British Broadcasting Company seems to be cracking down on YouTube now, so I'd say grab anything you want now. I still haven't downloaded anything from it!

Doesn't look like it, considering the thread is from 2006. Great for a sample on material, blows in quality. Nothing like the real thing.
