Hi there, I was wondering if you know any source to download 80s video mpegs that have such a good quality that it's worth burning them as DVD? The tube is nice for watching online but...

Hmm yes.. it would be great to start a 'presentable' collection... I agree youtube / google video etc are good for personal viewing... but you wouldn't want to send them to your loungeroom's Plasma at a party or make a dvd of them to watch with friends etc....

Like the more obscure N/W mp3's around making sure these tracks don't fall into obscurity and get forgotten.,. the same should be done with full screen good quality music video's.

Thats a great idea.. however its still a personal viewing device.... psp's do not require decent resolution due to the screen size. I think what Plastik is getting at is full screen decent resolution rare video's being available for download. They may take some time and space.. but hey its worth it to keep them from falling into obscurity.

Yea I know at full screen they look like shit, but they work prefect on my psp or a video ipod. I just convert the .flv files with psp video 9. All my friends dig it.

You name it. I know there are a lot of people out there sitting on loads of rare videos on VHS. Unfortunately, most aren't willing to make those available for (let's be honest) free. The New Wave 4DVD Set that is on offer here is a great start and I also appreciate the efforts that ran into the more obscure tunes although most of the material isn't my cup of tea. What I'd like is loads of rare material in next-to-new VHS quality for download. That would be enough for me.
For most people 100 MB shouldn't take too long to download as connections are becoming faster and faster.
Let's wait and see.
