Owner of a Lonely heart + out of touch techno rmk
Posted: Thu Nov 10, 2005 11:27 pmOkay, so a few months back I saw the "owner of a lonely heart" techno remake video. You know, the one with the two enterprising kids?
A few days ago, I saw some other artist do some techno remake of "Out of Touch". Not so more of a remake, just a re-vocalized chorus. It too was a video.
The common features of the 2:
1. A very rough remake of an 80s song. Most notably, the chorus + techno
2. A video with a lot of attractive women dancing around
3. Deception in order to achieve #2.
In the Owner of a Lonely heart, we have 2 kids with a camera who claim to be doing modeling tryouts.
In the "out of touch" video, we have a guy playing strip poker, but wearing a wire where there are cameras affixed on the other players' cards.
Same video director? Or just the way videos are done now?
