Hi all, This past summer there was word of a live 1980-era concert DVD release for the Japanese new Wave band The Plastics. Has anyone here seen it!?!? I thought the same concert might have been released on DVD (in Japan only?) a few years ago as well. Thanks for any help!

I bought it in Japan this past summer. It contains a DVD with live footage of an Atlanta concert in 1981, and 2 songs from a Tokyo concert (with B 52s) in 1979. It also has a live 1979 Tokyo CD, and a thick booklet. It is called Hard Copy, and is a Japanese release.
HMV Japan and Cd Japan should have it.

there are two dvds. one is called "hard copy" and the other "plastics." i've got the "plastics" one and it has 9 live videos from 1980 and an interview, so i assume it's different than the hard copy dvd.

the promo to "top secret man" is on the "SCTV, Volume 2" dvd.

From what I can tell floodrawn's "Plastics" dvd is out of print. And Hard Copy is a Japanese release; so good luck! The SCTV is available from what others have reported here.
