WTD:MTV 'Hour One' Aug 1, 81 rebroadcast

Postby rockadelic » Sun Jan 22, 2006 9:41 am

The first hour 12 midnight to 1 AM Aug 1, 1981 was rebroadcast in 1986 for year 5 and 91 for year 10. I have hours 2, 3, and 4 from Aug 1 1981 to offer in trade on dvdr. I can get a crapy multigen 91 rebroadcast with the HUGE logo but what I want is a a great quality low gen 91 or even the 86 version if that's possible. thanks for any info.

Hey Rockadelic,

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you post the playlist for the first four hours of MTV? I'd love to know what they actually played. I know they opened with "Video Killed the Radio Star", but I don't know what they did beyond that.

TIA!
