The only line I remember from this song is "She's beginning to suspect / Mister Right don't come into this discotheque".
In the mid eighties I used to listen to CFNY out of Toronto. Only much later did I realize what a unique resource we had coming in from across the border (into Buffalo). It’s possible this is from a Canadian act that never got much airplay in the US.
I think it was getting played around the same time as the Payolas' "Hammer on a drum" which would put it about 1983 or so.
I've been looking for this song for years. No one else seems to remember it.
