Two More Unknown Songs

Postby play dead » Fri Oct 21, 2005 12:20 am

The first song was a song I recorded on to cassette back in August of 1997. So in THIS August (2005) I transferred the song to my computer using a primitive microphone. All I know is that the name of the first song is "Sensation" ... (i think). I need the artist's name, song name (if i'm wrong), and year. I'm hoping to find an actual clear MP3 of this mystery song.
This song has deep male vocals that sound similar to very EARLY Stone Temple Pilots.

(make sure to turn down your speakers a little bit because the file is loud)

I recieved the second song when I got a DVD-R of MP3s from a friend and this song was mislabeled as a The New York Room song... which it definetly is not by that artist. I don't need an MP3 of this song... I'm just looking for the song title and artist's name and some other info like date of its release and album name.
The song has female vocals and lots of fast synths.

I'm not sure, but the first one really sounds like The Tea Party to me.

The second song is a cover of Joy Division/New Order's Isolation. [8D] So that would probably make it from later than 1982.

You can check here to see the cover versions that exist- not sure which is the group that you have posted:

Second one may be Trance To The Sun.

Motors is right: the first one is The Tea Party. The title, however is "Temptation" (blame the recording) from the CD of the same name.

Could that "Isolation" song I posted be by "Dessau." I've been trying to find info-- or even song samples of this artist and I cannot find any. I'm pretty sure it is not because the vocals on the MP3 are female. But this artist is Joy Division/New Order influenced... so I'm lost here.

You may know this by now, but if it's a female vocalist, it's not Dessau. No idea who it may be.
