I always feel twenty times more unknowledgeable after listening to your clips.
But I know one. Jorb7 is a group called B.M.P.
SB2... uh... "Fire in My Heart" by Escape from New York? Anyone? Bueller?

Oops, forgot the title of one. "Let Me Show You" by B.M.P. The album is called "Loc It Up" (Epic, 1985).
The other one was something that was probably played for me back in the '80s, but I didn't like it enough to pay any attention to who it was. Escape from New York was the only bandname with a single out during that period that vaguely rings a bell with me... although I guess I could be confusing it with the movie. But, can't hurt.
By the way, have you tried running all these past the guy who runs discomusic.com? He certainly seems to be a lot more knowledgeable with the dance floor stuff than I am.
