Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

The song is from 1982 (plus or minus a year).

I played the song a radio show in college and accidentally cued up the wrong song. So all I know is that it is a band I am familiar with that had a song on the same record that was played on WLIR.

My initial guess what that it was Way of The West, but they never released an album, only singles.

Any help is appreciated!

You cued up "Prove It," the b-side to Way Of The West's "Don't Say That's Just For White Boys"!

I had always suspected it was them! I remembered it being off an album. I can't thank you enough. Do you or anyone know anything about that band?
