Unlisted song fromm Sixteen candles..not credited?

Ive been trying to figure out who this band is.The very 1st song to play at the school dance in Sixteen Candles when Molly enters the dance.The band sounds kinda like Madness....When I learn how I'll put up the clip...

I believe it's The Specials, and from memory it's: "Do The Dog???" [?]

Or it was Nite Klub??? [:p]

lal006 is correct, I have not seen the movie in a looooong time, it *IS* "Little Bitch" by The Specials... they probally couldn't get the rights for the soundtrack, just used in the movie. [;)] [|)]

It's not the Specials, that's like the 5th song or so in the dance sequence.

Not that it really helps, here's a thread where the song you are looking for is discussed. It seems the consensus is that it was whipped together for the film.
