As The Days Go By

As The Days Go By

There's this song I've been hearing a lot lately at this place I shop. It's not really new wave, more pop-rock. But it's an 80's song I'd never heard of until recently. It kind of sounds like a cross between Lindsey Buckingham and Eddie Money with a little Van Halen (Van Hagar) thrown in. The lyrics go something like...

As The Days Go By
Getting Closer To You
As The Days Go By
You Get A Little Closer Too

Anyone know?

Update....

Nevermind dudes & dudettes. I just figured out who the artist is. It was Daryl Braithwaite - As The Days Go By. I believe he was an Australian singer.

Hopefully I didn't confuse anyone here into thinking I was talking about the Talking Heads[:p]
