Please help me identify this song

[WLIR1984]

I have a 90-minute cassette I made of a "Party Out Of Bounds" program that was broadcasted on WLIR circa 1984-85(?). There is a song on that compilation that I still have not identified. I am hoping that somebody here will be able to help. My apologies in advance if this has been identified already. I'm new here.

The chorus goes something like, "Let's All Turn Around." The lyrics are sung quickly in a rapidfire pace - almost like R.E.M.'s "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" (in fact it almost sounds like an R.E.M. song). As I recall, there is a silly falsetto at one point during the lyrics where they sing "who wears short shorts, we wear short shorts." I don't believe the song has any synth. It's just straight-ahead guitar, bass and drums, garage-band-style. The vocals have alot of reverb. WLIR used to play the song pretty frequently (I think).
