New Scientists - Why don't you stay

It's from Germany, it's from 86, they got airplay on NDR 2!!, it's Synthpop and it's so rare that I didn't find a single available copy at GEMM..
I contacted the upper of the information about the band and sent him the youtube link, let's just hope!

How great would it be if these links to the samples weren't dead?
The whole story is so similar to this whole "Stay" thing, its eerie.

Bad news again:

I just received a message from the upper of the information, it's NOT New Scientists. He owns the album and the 12" listed at Discogs, so he has to know...damn, the story really sounded as if finally luck was on our side..

This is probably another very long shot that will lead nowhere, but I used to have an EP from a band called Warm Bodies, titled "Glow in the Dark". I think it was from 1986 or 1987 and I believe they were from the USA. Anyway, I'm about 60% sure that there was a song called "Stay" (or that contained the word "Stay") on it. Unfortunately, I no longer have the EP, and I believe I must have sold it years ago (if I remember correctly, the record was sealed and I never listened to it... this was before I began obsessively collecting records). I do know that one of the members played synths. Unfortunately, a google search turns up absolutely nothing, so I can't really confirm much.

I finallly read the whole thread. But, are those radio station in Germany still around? And has anybody been to them recently?

they're still around, I'm working in Media Research and we have both of them as a client..the producers of both stations don't have any clue who it might be..

Any news on the song? don't know how many times I've now heard that sample, still no idea after all those years...
Maybe we can list all the bands+songs that were definetely not the one searched for so if newbies join the forum, it would be easier for them without going through 400+ messages.
