There is a quirky French song I have on an old tape that has the line c'est l'amour as the chorus. I'm pretty sure that the singer is not Etienne Daho.

The singer's voice is similar to that of Vince Clarke. Any help at all would be appreciated. Even naming some other French new wave of the time would be helpful.
