Valley Girl Movie???

I've seen this movie a hundred times and cannot figure out the instrumental song playing in the background when Skip is on the phone talking to Stacey. (This is the scene where he is sitting on the floor in his bedroon wearing the baseball catchers mask)Anyone know this? If I had to guess It maybe by Gary Myrick and the Figures or Gary Numan.

I have the cd soundtrack, it might be- "Angst in my pants" by Sparks or Eyes of a stranger by The Payolas.
The Gary Myrick track is- "She talks in Stereo"

Thanks for the reply, but those are not the ones. This song is strictly instrumental & its not listed in the credits.I have never heard it anywhere except for in the movie.
