This song is about 9 and a half minutes long! Very moody and slow and the lyrics start out: "I wasn't expecting this, everything is destroyed, underneath the...nothings, underneath there is a void, beyond that void there is a place, where figments from our dreams are vanished, childhood nightmares all come seeking, and I know logic nearly vanished, then the chorus sounds like "care" with voices in the background. I need song title and CD it's from. Thanks for replys!

Fiero,

That's "Chaos" by The Church (one of my fave bands) from their 1992 album Priest=Aura, which I think is their masterpiece, even though their commercial success had already peaked. A brilliant but very dark song.

I would just have to say that "Heyday" is, in my humble opinion, The Church's masterpiece (so long as YOUR copy includes the b-side "As You Will")

WOW! Is it Steve Kilby on lead vocals? Never got this CD because I stopped keeping up with my 80s bands once the 90s started. I'm trying to get them all now!! "Louisiana" and "Much too much" are my favorite songs by The Church.
