I do not remember this song. Hopefully Rewind will see this post and can help you out.
I am going to send it over to a friend who is a WLIR expert.
I'll let you know if I hear anything about it.

Can you keep this to one thread? It's usually against forum rules everywhere to do multiple posts.

I haven't heard from my friend yet, but I also emailed Malibu Sue to see if she can listen to it and give us any info.

No need to worry about deleting. Just let it fade into the past by not posting there anymore [:)]. Strange that you can't delete though.
Woo hoo ... Malibu Sue from Depeche Mode 101 fame!

Hey, GlitteringPrize, that sounds real familiar but I can't place it just yet. I don't think it got regular rotation on LIR, maybe just a few one-off spins. If you can post the part where the DJ talks after the song, and include as much of the tape as you can, I may be able to ID the time period and narrow down the possibilities.

The other thread has responses. Ergo, it can't be deleted by GlitteringPrize.
(I don't know what the song is.)

This could be the beginnings of a good "Ya Ya" compilation
add
Tones on Tales "Go!"
Belle Stars "Ci Ya Ya"
Thompson Twins "Living in Europe"
Trio "Ya Ya" in addition to there "Da Da Da" and "Ja Ja Ja"
Are there any other Ya Ya songs?

The only other Yeah yeah song I can think of is by the Pogues titled (what else) "yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah".
I opened a YouSendIt account seeing as how that's the method of choice for sharing but I can't seem to figure out the steps to make it available for everyone. Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully this is the song you're looking for.
