I vaguely recall this music video. It was black and white music video that closely resembled PJ Harvey's "Mansize" - shot in black and white, etc. At first, I thought it WAS her, but this female singer had a softer vocals. I don't know any of the lyrics, don't know anything, except it came out in the early to mid 90s and resembles the aforemention music video/artist. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as usual

Much softer music too? I'll take a stab and say maybe Mazzy Star?

I have all her albums. It's not Mazzy Star or Hope Sandoval[8D] The music video was black and white. I can recall the song started with some kind of flute instrument. The chick had her hair fashioned like in a bun (shiny dark hair). She sort of reminded me of a ballerina, but don't take that description to be exact. Double-damn me! It used to be played on 120 minutes and alternative nation for a bit.

I checked them out this afternoon. They are goooood! No wonder. It's the same guy from Mazzy Star, but alas... no cigar. I think this song came out in the early 90s.

I have to say I am impressed Rewind.
She looks kind of Lene Lovich in the video.

Wow, congrats rewind. I was off looking in Tracy Bonham/Heather Nova territory.

Fun Facts:
This was actually the second video that was released for this song. It came out in November '94 and was directed by Lisa Bonet!
The original video for this song was released in February '94, co-starred Harry Dean Stanton, and was co-directed by Kate Garner (ex-Haysi Fantayzee)!!

I'm surprised at how much I like this video and song. I would never have guessed it was a "slashie" who sang it. Back when it first aired, I could easily excuse liking this due to raging hormones. This video aired at off hours on MTV (either very late at night or very early in the morning). I have never seen the other version of the video until yesterday afternoon. I like this one better. It has a neat silent-surrealist film quality and it helps that she's so goddamn attractive. Maybe I'm just biased since I also have good memories of those times when this song was... fashionable[8D]

You should check out the album "The Divine Comedy".
She's amazingly like a young Kate Bush.

I keep wishing Milla would put out another album. But I guess she is too busy marrying directors and working on her clothing line. That album kicked ass.

Don't forget she's also busy starring in blockbuster bombs[:D] Ultraviolet was as bad a career move as Charlize Theron doing Aeon Flux[xx(]
