Can anyone help me with the lyrics for the Hubert Kah song Midnight Sun? I can't seem to find the lyrics anywhere. I really would like to find. Can reply directly to my email. Much appreciated.

One of my all time favorite songs and definitely my favorite song by Hubert Kah. The lyrics are on the Japanese release of "Sound Of My Heart" which I have but unfortunately not with me.

I used to know this song by heart but I'm getting old. I think it goes something like this.

Heard you saying goodbye my friend
midnight sun's the place we'll meet again
Christmas eve some night set in
Didn't know the meaning came from within

I said call on my friend
call on my friend
to follow the midnight sun
midnight sun

Yellow peeled off garden fence
would you run and play with me again
You maybe got to know my dreams and know my life
happened in between now that he died

MIDNIGHT SUN

Heard you saying goodbye my friend
midnight sun's the place we'll meet again
Christmas eve some night set in
Didn't know the meaning came from within

You can count on your friend
count on your friend
just follow the midnight sun
midnight sun

Yellow peeled off garden fence
would you run and play with me again
You maybe got to know my dreams and know my life
happened in between now that he died

I said call on my friend
call on my friend
we follow the midnight sun
midnight sun

Everyday I go insane
walking on the mines that I have laid
and maybe I will never see that midnight sun
you'll be shining like a burning flame

You can count on your friend
count on your friend
we follow the midnight sun
and maybe you'll lend me your hand
you can count on your friend
to follow the midnight sun
We follow the midnight sun

It is the ONLY place intire www world that have these lyrics.

OK!OK!OK!OK!

I have this old tape (from 1988)with this song thus tape have been jammed in cassette player in the middle of song about 30 secs.
So I have searced this song artist by few lyric line for about few years all across www. But I really like this song and I kept on trying.
Finally I entered to google ---lyrics "just follow the midnight son"--- and the engine asked DID YOU MEAN lyrics "just follow the midnight sun", and then i found it. Earlier when I used lyrics "follow the midnight son"- I got nothing.

Sean: Many thanks.

Are your lyrics copied from the inner sleeve? If so they would be original and correct.

But what I hear is subtly different:

How do you say goodbye my friend?
Midnight sun's the place we'll meet again.
Christmas siege some rain set in.
Didn't know the meaning kept within.

You can count on your friend
Count on your friend
Just follow the midnight sun
Midnight Sun

Gentle field of guard and fence
Would you run and play with me again
You maybe got to know my dreams and all my life
What happened in between now that he's dead

I said call on my friend
Call on my friend
We'll follow the midnight sun
Midnight sun

Every day I go insane
Walking over mines that I have lain
And maybe I will yet see that midnight sun
It should be shining like a burning flame

etc...

But of course, no guarantee that my ears are hearing what Hubert actually sang.
