in the 1950's Jerry Lewis (in a movie) and Lucy (I Love Lucy) did a lip sync and dance to a record wearing a fruit salad headdress. On I Love Lucy, she was trying to get Ricky to remember his life in Cuba, and the record player kept messing up. it was like "m m m muh querro...."

The song is (I think)'Mama Yo Quero' by Carmen Miranda.
There are some various spellings of the title, such as "Mamae Eu Quero" but I'm pretty sure this is the song, if not the version that you mention.
