Recorded this one on a home made comp back in the mid 80's. Track listing is long gone.Can anyone identify the band please:

This sounds ridiculously like For Against, though I know it's not from either of the first 2 albums (Echelons or December). It may have been on the "In The Marshes" 10 Inch single or perhaps a demo or rare b-side. If it's not For Against it sure as heck sounds like them.

Thanks Jason ! This song is from no later than 1987. I'm quite sure it was from a compilation LP back then which makes it more difficult.I'll see if I can locate some material from the band you mentioned. If it's not them,you may have introduced me to another great unheard of band.

I'm inclined to agree with you--it's gotta be them ! Pretty much read most of the websites literature and checked out the mp3's. Still, nothing I recognized on the posted tune.The title must be someting like:

Eyes of Ivory
Just for the Moment
I'm Forgotton

Unfortunately, the one person whom I borrowed the LP from back then and a was a very dear friend has passed away.Been going thru the old tapes I recorded of all her music and wish I could identify some of these bands. Again,thanks for the link and the info. I do want to order their first release.
