We'll be right back, after this word

We'll be right back, after this word

Postby helios » Fri Aug 04, 2006 1:09 am

I was pretty sure the song was called "Turn the record over".but I can't find ANY reference to it ANYWHERE so, I must be wrong about that.

The song is ..well, I'll just describe what I remember...

The "song" is a mix of different male and female TV announcers saying that famous TV line: "We'll be right back, after this word."

At one point an announcer breaks into the song and says (male voice):"Soft and tender and" and a split second later (sexy female voice) "Batteries not included"

If Anyone has even heard or heard of this song or something vaugely similar, help me out!

I swore I saw the video for it on Nickelodeon of all places. I remember the generic male voice announcing over and over again.

thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

I had a partial recording of the song on cassette tape and, of course, lost the tape.

Now to buy and burn!

Thanks again!

"Turkey Television" starring a pre-Full House Dave Coullie (sp?) showed a few weird videos so there is a good chance that's where you saw it. TT also had Norman Guntson (again, sp?), the hapless Aussie TV reporter.

LOL thats the first thing I though about when I saw the subject line.

"we'll be right back after this word, we'll be right back after this word"

Now does anyone have this song? I can't find it.
