Click on the sample for "Wenn Der Mond Die Sonne Beruhrt" -- which is the German original.

Mmm, yeah, lord forbid we'd have to do without the complexity of lines like "When she took a look in my eyes, she saw a picture of you." Never mind that the original has a better arrangement.

1. You weren't looking for anything. Note the name of the forum.

2. I hope plagiarism never helps you with anything again, since you can't be bothered to thank him for giving you the (on-topic) help you actually asked for.

as for your friend, i just won't reply to those comments, as i don't want to start feuds, or drama of any kind.

Keep an open mind about the foreign music. As SomebodySomewhere said, the arrangements are often better. I don't get the chance to talk about them much on this board, but my favorite band of the 90s was Shonen Knife, a Japanese group. I bought most of their albums in both Japanese and English format, and the Japanese ones were usually better.

My favorite new group du jour are the Prototypes, from France. Here's a link to a video by them:

I'm not any sort of great international music expert. I'm not even a New Wave expert (but I wanna be). I'm just willing to keep my mind and ears open.

You're welcome, for what little I did. [:)]

On edit. That turned out to be a lecture. Sorry about that. Really, though, the apparent unwillingness to listen to a song in German offended me worse than the lack of a "thanks".

Plagiarism,

You're my new best friend. Prototypes are simply stunning in so many ways.

How about Lansing - Dreiden? (Obscure art rock that feels like it was recorded in 1982 and remixed in '89, anyone?)
