How about these two songs?

I remember two songs from the early 80's that both repeated vowels in the lyrics, but were also both distinctly different songs. One had a repeated chorus that sang:

"A-E-I-O-U you, and sometimes Y".

The second one (if I'm remembering correctly) was about a girl named "Lola" (not the Kinks version) and the vocals had a part where the singer was actually talking, not rapping. Vowels were also repeated by the chorus, but they were kind of shouted instead of actually sung with a pause between each letter:

"A!... E!... I!... O!... U!"

I don't think there was any mention of "Y" in the second song.

The band is EBN-OZN and I believe you're thinking of the same song.
A-E-I-O-U and sometimes Y

These are part of the lyrics-

Cappuccino across the street from Lincoln Center, I started
talking to her you know - She said her name was Lola,
Her English wasn't too good you know - but we wound up spending
about 5 hours together just hanging out you know.

Ahhh, thanks! That's one of them. Here's a YouTube link to the video:

I was wrong about the "sometimes Y" not being included in the EBN-OZN song.

There definitely was also a different second song though. It was a few years older and was more of a Euro club, dance, song. No rapping/talking it at all as I remember.
