This first track is supposed to be E.S.G.'s "Jungle". I can't find any info though saying they made a track of that name. It certainly sounds like them. Is it them and what album is it off?

Song 2: It's only a 40 second clip that sounds a little like Bush Tetras musically and then the vocals come on which are German.

Song 3: This group is female fronted and the vocals sound a lot like Alterted Images. The lyrics go:

Song 4: This song is a sort of punk garage band. Lyrics go something like:

Song 5: This is a British post punk sound with vocals in the vein on of a les nasal Johnny Rotten. It's sort of a spoken word anti-consumerism track. Lyrics go:

in the kingdon of consumption
the citizen is king
a democratic monarchy
equality before consumption
fraternity in comsumption
and freedom in comsumption

comsumer goods are used by you or lose value
there nature is to be comsumable there all dust

and as President Eisenhower so casually explained
the present economic system has been rescued by turning man into a consumer
by identifying him by the highest number of possible consumable ?volumes?

Even if you can't id the songs these all good songs so have a listen for the fun of it.

Took a listen to the fifth song -- no idea who the band is but the lyrics to the song are actually quotes taken from Raul VanEigem (sp?), a situationist philosopher. I think he wrote this stuff in the late 60's... bet he never thought it'd get incorporated into a tune!

Personally I'm kinda psyched that I remember stuff from my philosophy class back at NYU in '86!
