Wasn't the inspiration for this song some disco tune in the mid 80's?
I remember the roof is on fire chorus then the " Let the mother fucker burn" was an ad lib done by the dance crowd. Anyone remember the song or group ?

The original "The Roof Is On Fire" was by Rockmaster Scott and the Dynamic Three. It came out in 1984.

The famous chant does not appear on the record - it was something Rockmaster Scott had people shout at live shows.
