"Sinking Feeling" by Winsfer (?) Adams
Posted: Sun Feb 11, 2007 3:38 pmWhile listening to a little Soul Mining the other day, I half-remembered another song called "Sinking Feeling" (perhaps "The" or "That" or "This Sinking Feeling") that I assume I heard on WLIR circa 1984.
For some reason the artist name that kept popping into my head was "Winsfer Adams", or "Winsford Adams" or something like that.
I only remember a partial line of the chorus, which ended "...can you save me from this sinking feeling" or similar. The song was fairly moderately paced, not uptempo, and seemed more melancholy in tone than upbeat. The singer was a solo male. I think it was a synthesizer backing him.
Can anybody shed some light on this tune? (Heck, for all I know, I might have dreamt it.)
