It's not excactly New Wave, but I need help with this song:

Taped in 1991 from a german "Alternative" radioshow.

Lyrics start with "I've seen a forestfire and a burning sea"
while the chorus may or may not include the word "separation"
I just can't trust my ears...[:I]
