NEED HELP WITH THEEESSS RARE ,LOST, 80'S SONGS

there is two songs i need help with, the problem is that they ever hardly play them anymore, i haven't heard them in about more than 20 years and i don't realy remember any of the lyrics only a few. the first song was done by a girl who kinda talked like a valley girl. the song was about sweaters or a sweater . she discribed diffrent types of sweaters and thats all i remember. the second song is kinda hard to. this song was by a guy, or group. he sounded kinda like the pet shop boys. all the lyrics i remember is that they say, " tell me whyyyy, tell me whyyyy.... it was kinda like a uppy synth pop song. please help.

Might be "The sweater" by Meryn Cadell
the other could be
"Tell me tell me" by Moskwa TV or
"What do you see" by Cause & Effect

None of these are from 20 years ago, look around for sound clips and check if these might be it.
