Do you remember a song that had a guy doing a commentary about....being a young boy and going to a theme park? I still remember the voice! He talks about kids and running away and realizing all your dreams. It reminded me of the pide piper story. It was like come on kids, your all invited.....

I can't remember the title but I'm pretty sure it was by Michael Jackson. Or Gary Glitter. Or maybe Pete Townshend.

Ah, good 'ole Brother John as our guide in the summer of indescribable earthly delights. [:0]

You are welcome (Bitte Schön!), loved that song since it first spun on KROQ! I'm guessing Blir did/does too...[:)]

I wonder if there was an extended version like "Love Is The Law?"

I only have the remix of MUSIC FOR BOYS, clocking in at 7:11. It's on Richard Blade's Flashback Favorites Volume 6. Is there another version out there? [:p]

The album and greatest hits versions are both 6:47.

It's a tremendous song. Made my top 100 list this year (for what that's worth). It appeared on their second album, a double LP called Credit In Heaven. I have it on vinyl. Did this ever come out on CD?
FYI- They hail from the Minneapolis area along with Husker Du, The Replacements and Soul Asylum.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.
