This one may be obvious but it's escaping me.
Bangles-esque female singer, jangly guitar, "tell me what you want, tell me, hey, hey hey." Probably early to mid-80s but the way my brain works, who knows?
Looked up likely titles on Allmusic, saw that the Bangles had a song called "Tell Me" from "All Over the Place," and felt pretty dumb, because I listened to that album constantly in the mid-80s . . . then I pulled it out and realized it's not the song I had in mind.
Anyone? Thanks!
