song about the Yorkshire Ripper... artist/title?
Posted: Wed Dec 08, 2004 1:37 pmLooking for details on a song about Peter Sutcliffe - the song starts with his actual voice talking to george the detective at scottland yard saying "THEY NEVER LEARN DO THEY GEORGE" then song starts. CFNY played it 81-82 ish ."when jackie boy gets back in town" form part of the lyrics.
I've done a search and found some reference to a pre-Banshee's recording by Steve Severin and one by Sex Gang Children, but I'm not sure if it's either of those.
any ideas ?
