Ok, sorry im going to be very vague here because I have no idea about any of the lyrics. Got this song stuck in my head from the 80s club last night. This song is fairly short, has a very catchy short beat with a snare roll after each verse. You really want to jump up and down to it =D The guy on the video has blondish hair, think it was kinda curly. Everyone else in the club went nuts when they played it so its gotta be something popular.

Well, I know its a long shot- but if anyone knows, that would be awesome!

Can you narrow it down with any sub-genre information? Did it sound clubby/electronic, heavier housie, synth-poppy, power-pop, ska, straight MTV new wave-ish, etc? Lots of lyrics or more instrumental?

Ok its more of a altenative style song, yes i can say its a bit MTVish, verses are very short, maybe 20 seconds each with that short snappy snare roll between each one (alot like the snare roll in simple minds 'don't forget about me'). Each verse has the

80's group with blondish curly hair singer, Erasure Andy Bell for one. Hmmm Petshop boys though Neil Tennant had brown curly hair. Maybe OMD? Nah Andy McCluskey had brown hair though it was curly as well? Sorry need more info......

In the unlikely event you haven't (not sure about blondish part), the two bands that came to mind for me were Squeeze (Glenn Tilbrook) and They Might Be Giants (John Flansburgh), though I can't think of a

Well i finally heard the song again tonight at the club. Got a few phrases of the lyrics and found it on google. Nobody got it right though. The song is 'Laid' by James. I found the album and its from 1993, not even 80s, nor new wave. DOH! Thanks for the
