Ok, sorry im going to be very vague here because I have no idea about any of the lyrics. Got this song stuck in my head from the 80s club last night. This song is fairly short, has a very catchy short beat with a snare roll after each verse. You really want to jump up and down to it =D The guy on the video has blondish hair, think it was kinda curly. Everyone else in the club went nuts when they played it so its gotta be something popular.

Well, I know its a long shot- but if anyone knows, that would be awesome!

Thanks

Sounds like you've probably nailed it raserx!!

In the unlikely event you haven't (not sure about blondish part), the two bands that came to mind for me were Squeeze (Glenn Tilbrook) and They Might Be Giants (John Flansburgh), though I can't think of a

Well i finally heard the song again tonight at the club. Got a few phrases of the lyrics and found it on google. Nobody got it right though. The song is 'Laid' by James. I found the album and its from 1993, not even 80s, nor new wave. DOH! Thanks for the
