English post-punk/new wave, had lyrics, "...I want a Mini Cooper immune from endorsements...I want a million dollars, but I don't wanna pay taxes, unless it's just a penny in the pound...I'm not asking, but I'm receiving...this is everything I've been wanting..." Google has been no help.

The song you are talking about is called I Want from Department S from around 1980. I am sure of it, as I have the music video somewhere. You can go on allmusic.com and there is a tiny audio clip of it also. Hope this helps, Michael
