Hey everybody!

I'm new here and very impressed, you people are very knowlegdable about the tunes so hopefully someone can answer this nagging question.

Song lyrics:

"one" "set up to lie to each other"
"two "set up...."
"one" "set up, ..."
"two" "set up... for each other"
"they did it with numbers, they couldn't give a name, so they gave it a number" "they did it to each other"

tough one here, heard it in 82! Thanks for your time!

Larry Guidry

p.s remember Monte Video "who's calling" and Ian North "romance"
Miss those ep's!!!

They couldn't think of a number, so they gave him a name....

That was a line from the song you seem to be after: "The Setup" by Rupert Hine. AFAIR the album title was "Waving not Drowning" and was released on A&M Records (at least over here in Europe).
