Apologies for my initial post in the general area. Newbies, ya know ...

Song from the mid-80's with lyrics:

" ... I loved you and you loved me and that's the way I wanted it to be ..."

and

" ... but don't forget I stayed in school, I'll never be your fool your fool ..."

Last heard on WRAS (88.5 FM) in Atlanta circa 1986. Anyone seen this one on a milk carton lately?

Many, many thanks (and an extra helping of awe and admiration). I've already ordered a copy on the web on your word alone. I owe you one.

Got "You Break It, You Bought It" in the mail this week. Definitely the correct song. Curious how bargainbin pegged it (and why it was released on CD). Was Scott Goddard bigger than I realize?

I only know him from his song Cowpunk.

I suspect he was originally from either L.A. or Ventura county. Who the else would have heard of the town of Filmore? [8D]

I just made it through the entire CD for the first time. I was very amused by his cover of "Talk Talk" from Alice Cooper's _Flush the Fashion_ album. [The one with "(We're All) Clones".] Great tune.
