I'm trying to locate a song from approximately 1992 which has the lyric "love is like a boomerang". I think it is a dance song sung by a woman, or possibly a duet.

I have already ruled out songs by Kevin Parent, Modabo and Sandra Collins.

I'm guessing on the year because I heard it when I was living at a particular residence - I lived there between September 1990 to October 1992. It is possible that the song is older than that but that it just received a lot of airplay during this time period. I heard it on a dance/pop station in Vancouver, BC.

I wish I had more information to give you. I know it's not a lot to go on.

Could be Patti Smith "Godspeed" or Possibly Carol King "(Love is like a)Boomerang"
