I'm sure someone will be able to answer this for me really quickly. Towards the end of the synthy song (or is it the chorus) the male singer sings "cry" (it may be "you make me cry" or "make me want to cry") but the word is really drawn out like "crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" and then it's repeated but at a higher pitch and then repeated at a higher pitch again. Obviously modulated. I've always thought it was Alphaville. Am I right?

Although it appeared that way, it technically wasn't "morphing," but rather merely dissolving sections of one face into another. The concept was brilliant and the effect was awesome.

I believe Michael Jackson's "Black Or White" was the first commercial music video using real computer morphing.
