cant get this out of my head

Postby crcarr1 » Sun May 23, 2004 1:30 pm

I cannot get this song out of my head and I need your help. I need to know the artist and title. Here are some of the lyrics, which may be misheard on my part. Thanks for your help!!

One verse: No way girl, your living in a dream.

Other verses: Everyday, everynight, in that old familiar light, you hung up when I called you ....(something something something)

Other verses: and i tried to get through and i tried to talk to you but there's something stopping me from getting through

I have a fondness for the extended version. Its got a super super long intro to it with lots of cool piano work in it. Its great. Havent heard it in a while. Think I will put it on.

I listened to it five times since crcarr's post! Man it's lush! The short version just sounds like the extended without the great lead-in. It'd be like listening to the Damned's Smash It Up without its great guitar intro.
