Remember that previous thread about the band I could not identify?

Apparently I have a handful of their tunes. Another tune they released is called "independence day". Does that ring any bells? I'm intent to find out since I do enjoy this band, I just don't know who they are.

I'm coming into this thread late so I may be taking you in the wrong direction.....there are a few other 80's options for "Independence Day" - one would be by the band THE PAINTED WORD & the other would be a cover version of THE COMSAT ANGELS "Independence Day" by a little known band called THE EMPTY SET (quite a good cover version - the rest of the LP never did much for me). All this information is probably useless to you in your quest. I guess I just felt like babbling about some 80's obscurities!!
