There's a song on the first Ghostbusters movie that is called "Magic." The song on the Ghostbusters soundtrack is performed by a different artist from the version in the movie. The soundtrack version is by Mick Smiley; and it sounds like Phil Collins. I'm looking for the movie version; which sort of sounds like slow Duran Duran vocals (in my opinion). The song is played in the scene after the NY city police shut down the ghostbuster's power grid and the ghosts are released into the city and blow up Sigourney Weaver's penthouse.

There is only one version of the song...

The thing you heard in the movie is actuallly the last 2 minutes of the song.
The rest of it is slow and sounds a lot like Phil Collins.
