Hi, I'm new to this site and so glad to have found it!

There's an early to mid-80s (I think)pop new wave song with a hook delivered in a deadpan female voice that goes like this:
"I-I-I-I-I I-I-I-I-I-I love you."

Does anyone remember who did it?

On edit: I'm cueing in on the repetitive I's in your query. In the Yello song, the female vocalist is repeating the phrase "I love you" without stuttering on the I.

Vadiamond, Stacey Q was previously in a band called SSQ. I remember seeing a video for the song "Synthicide" back in the early days of MTV. At least it was better than "Two of Hearts".

Those lyrics are also in "Should Have Known Better" but I have forgotten the artists name....I think it was a guy, though.
