I saw "Blancmange - Living on the Ceiling " listed on a website among a dozen or so other tunes that I know & love. I do not recall this song. Does anyone have it to clear the cobwebs from my mind?

Thanks! [:D]

Thank you very much..... I didn't know the name of the group, but I certainly remember that one! That was a WLIR staple for a while.

Is the Blancmange Best of worth the purchase? What were their other big hits? Amazon does not have sample clips.

As a fellow WLIR listener you might remember two other songs they played often, "Blind Vision" & "That's love that it is"....I can send those if you want.

Just thought I would pass on a good word for Blancmange.

I'm a huge fan of their ballad "Waves" and the dancy "Don't Tell Me" - both are definately worth checking out... along with the others mentioned. They seemed to fall into the Furniture school of newwave for me - one or two greats (Brilliant Mind, etc), 3 or 4 other solid tracks... and then the res is passable. The good tracks are worth the hunt.
