This 52-track 3-CD box set includes Cutting Crew's three studio albums recorded between 1986 and 1992, the Grammy-nominated debut Broadcast (1986), and the acclaimed follow-up The Scattering ( 1989) and the rediscovery album Compus Mentus (1992), as well as B sides, remixes and demos. Cutting Crew are primarily remembered for their huge international hit (I Just) Died In Your Arms, which sold millions of copies. But this box set shows there's more to the band, whose driving pop-rock was defined by strong songwriting, lead singer Nick Van Eede's soulful vocals and Kevin MacMichael's lead guitar. The US took the Cutting Crew to heart, and (I Just) Died In Your Arms topped the Billboard chart, I've Been In Love Before peaked at No. 9, and the album Broadcast peaked at No. 16, going gold. In the UK, (I Just) Died In Your Arms hit #4. All four singles from Broadcast also feature extended remixes originally released on 12" singles, including the much-loved 12" mix of (I Just) Died In Your Arms. Cutting Crew frontman Nick Van Eede dug into his archives to contribute five demos to the set, including two previously unreleased tracks - Open Up Your Window and a cover of Simon Dupree's Kites.

Damn, I finally bought the Broadcast reissue just last year. Mind you, this seems to be the original mixes, and I didn't have the version with the US remixes.
