I wonder if the songs that don't have the (12") next to it are regular album/single versions or extended versions? Anyone know? Judging from the number of songs on each cd, they are probably just album or single versions. By the way, this is a cool co

I don't want to cast a discouraging word, because I love the fact that there are companies putting this stuff out these days - BUT - many of these tracks are available already, so what's the point? Why don't they take a note from the greatest comps of all

I totally agree with you. Here are some of the tracks by the same bands that would have made this collection so much better.

Great picks Sean, those would make a great comp. Animal Magic has one of the best 12" remixes ever!

I just bought this cd and so far I am pleased with the quality. The tracks not listed as 12 inch versions are indeed not extended or remixed. Although there is a lot of duplicate tracks here some of the versions so far are different from the ones I curren

I was wrong, the mix on Real Eighties and A-sides B-sides is the uk extended and the mix on 12"/80's is the U.S. mix. I was just used to the latter. I just needed to go back and listen to them all at once. Thanks

This is a nice compilation but it seems like all the songs I want the long versions for are album/radio versions and all the long versions are stuff that I already have on other cd's. I get a little bugged when I see these compilations because I wonder i
