I hope it's better than their last single! Apart from the always welcome Mike Garson, "Five Years" was another Bowie Cover From Hell courtesy of DD. And I hope it's better than their clueless last album as well!

Sampled the single on iTunes. Not inspiring, but better than the worst of "Paper Gods." At least John Taylor was allowed to play bass! Very Duran melody but undercooked, half-finished, yet somehow over-egged arrangement. It makes me expect an album perhaps slightly better than the last one, but nowhere near the best they're capable of. [Monk goes back to his copy of "Red Carpet Massacre"] Another terrible cover.

I heard the new single.I am not impressed. DD must have end in the late 90's. It seems that the only thing they does is get the same stuff with a different sleeve cover (lame btw)
Are you going to start screwing over Redo like you screwed over MSK with your endless requests? what an idiot you turned out to be MATT

I really like the new single. They remain interesting and I have been a fan since 1981, although not everything they release are great. Hopefully more new wave sound on the album, as Erol Alkan has said. And DD/Moroder combination will be interesting!

Another album by 2xD'ran? Is there still an audience for it? Can't imagine. They should either pack it up or stick to playing their oldies goldies.

No pleasing the NWO elite.
With popular music being dominated by Hip Hop & Country,
we should be so lucky that New Wave artist are even releasing new music at all.

DD have always been consistent and brave with new material. A lot of their piers have dissipated or are on forever greatest hits tours.

There's so much stuff being released right now there's no need to cling to outdated projects like DD. This type of music is being done by younger bands and performers on a much better level, you just have to step out of the "popular music" box and investigate. Bandcamp can be your start. There's even a section on NWO called "Next Wave". Why not give the vital attention to new performers?

I really like DD AND new bands/artists. I have never understood why you have to choose between new and old, it is the music that counts
